Zentor is operated by the company behind the Zentor AI platform (“we” or “us”). This Privacy Policy explains what personal data flows through the Zentor platform and our related websites (together, the “Service”), how we use it, and the choices you have. It works alongside our Terms of Use.
By using the Service, you acknowledge that you have read this policy and understand how your data is handled.
1. Personal Information We Collect
1.1 Information You Provide
- Account information. Your name, email address, authentication credentials, and information passed to us when you use a third-party sign-in provider, such as Google.
- Content you send through the Service. Prompts, messages, files, and other content you supply (the “Input”), together with the responses Zentor produces (the “Output”).
- Connected services. Information and permissions needed to connect the Service to tools you choose to use. We process content from those tools only as needed to perform the tasks you request.
- Early access and other forms. Your email address and the answers, preferences, or other information you submit through waitlists, surveys, applications, and contact forms.
- Billing information. Subscription and transaction details. Complete payment-card information is handled by our payment provider rather than stored directly by us.
- Support and feedback. Information you share when you report a bug, request a feature, ask for help, or otherwise contact us.
1.2 Information Collected Automatically
- Device and connection data. IP address, browser, device type, operating system, language, time zone, and approximate location derived from your connection.
- Activity and diagnostic logs. Dates and times of access, pages or features used, referring pages, actions taken, errors, and performance information.
- Cookies and similar technologies. Essential cookies support sessions and security. Analytics services may use first-party cookies, browser local storage, or pseudonymous identifiers to distinguish visitors and sessions and understand how the Service is used.
1.3 Analytics Services
We use Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics, PostHog, and Ahrefs Web Analytics to measure traffic, understand product usage, diagnose problems, and improve the Service.
- Google Analytics. May collect page views, session information, approximate location, browser and device information, traffic sources, and interaction events. Google Analytics commonly uses first-party cookies to distinguish visitors and sessions.
- PostHog. May collect page views, clicks, product interaction events, device and browser data, and pseudonymous visitor identifiers. Our website configuration uses cookies and local storage for persistence and enables automatic interaction capture.
- Ahrefs Web Analytics. Collects aggregated website traffic and interaction information. Ahrefs states that its Web Analytics product does not use cookies or persistent identifiers by default and discards raw IP addresses rather than storing them.
We do not intentionally send passwords, payment-card details, the contents of your prompts or files, or free-text form responses to analytics providers. You can limit cookies or clear stored identifiers through your browser settings. Google also provides a browser add-on for opting out of Google Analytics measurement. Blocking analytics may affect measurement but should not prevent access to the core Service.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the information described above to:
- Run the Service. Process Input through AI models, return Output, carry out requested actions, and maintain accounts, sessions, connected tools, and history.
- Manage access and payments. Authenticate users, administer subscriptions, process transactions, and provide early access.
- Communicate with you. Send security alerts, billing notices, service messages, responses to support requests, and material policy updates.
- Maintain and improve the Service. Diagnose bugs, monitor reliability and performance, analyze usage, and develop or evaluate features.
- Protect users and comply with law. Detect fraud, abuse, and security threats; enforce our Terms; and comply with applicable law and valid legal requests.
3. How We Share Your Information
We do not sell personal information. We share it only in the following circumstances:
- AI model providers. We send Input to third-party model providers that generate Output on our behalf. They process the data to provide that service, and our agreements prohibit them from using it to train their own models.
- Service providers. Vendors that support cloud hosting, authentication, payments, customer support, security, email delivery, and analytics, including Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager, PostHog, and Ahrefs Web Analytics, receive only the information reasonably needed to provide their services.
- Connected services you choose. When you ask Zentor to interact with another service, we share the information needed to complete that request according to your instructions and the permissions you granted.
- Legal and safety reasons. We may disclose information when required by law, regulation, or valid legal process, or when reasonably necessary to protect users, the public, or Zentor’s rights, property, or safety.
- Corporate changes. If the business is involved in an acquisition, merger, financing, reorganization, or sale of assets, information may transfer as part of that transaction. We will provide notice where applicable law requires it.
4. Data Storage and International Transfers
Our primary Service servers are in Singapore. If you access the Service from another country, your data may be transferred to and processed in Singapore. Our providers may also process information in other countries where they operate.
Where required, we use contractual and other safeguards intended to protect personal information transferred across borders. We apply technical and organizational measures designed to protect data in transit and at rest.
5. Data Retention
While your account is active, we retain information needed to provide the Service. After you close your account, we delete or anonymize personal information associated with it within 90 days unless a legal hold, regulatory recordkeeping duty, unresolved dispute, security need, or enforceable agreement requires longer retention.
Conversation history, including Input and Output, is retained while your account remains active unless you delete it or ask us to do so. Early access submissions are retained while we evaluate and manage access, and may be deleted sooner on request. Analytics and security records are retained according to our configured retention periods and may remain in aggregated or de-identified form.
6. Account and Data Deletion
6.1 Delete your Zentor account and associated data
You can submit an account deletion request in the Zentor Android app or by email:
- In the Android app: sign in, open the navigation menu, select Settings, tap your account card, and select Delete account under Danger zone. Complete both confirmation steps by selecting Continue and then Delete permanently.
- Outside the app: email support@zentor.ai, preferably from the address associated with your Zentor account, and state that you want your account and associated data deleted. We may ask you to verify account ownership before processing the request.
Important: deleting your Zentor account does not cancel an active Google Play subscription. Cancel it separately in Google Play to avoid future charges.
What is deleted or retained
After we verify and process the request, we close the account and delete or anonymize the personal data associated with it within 90 days. This includes account and profile information, conversation history, uploaded files, and other product data associated with the account.
We may retain limited records for longer where necessary for security, fraud prevention, legal or regulatory compliance, an unresolved dispute, or enforcement of an agreement. Aggregated or anonymized information that can no longer identify you may remain.
6.2 Delete data without deleting your account
You may request deletion of some or all personal data while keeping your account open. Email support@zentor.ai, preferably from the address associated with your account, and identify the data you want deleted, such as specific conversations, uploaded files, support communications, form submissions, or other personal information. We may ask you to verify account ownership and clarify the scope of your request.
We delete or anonymize requested data within 90 days, subject to the limited retention reasons described above. Deleting information needed for a feature may limit or disable that feature, but it does not close your account unless you also request account deletion.
6.3 Other privacy rights
Depending on where you live, you may also have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you;
- Correct inaccurate or incomplete personal data;
- Delete personal data, subject to limited exceptions;
- Object to or restrict certain processing;
- Receive a portable copy of certain data where applicable;
- Close your account at any time.
Email support@zentor.ai to exercise a privacy right. We may need to verify your identity and will respond within the timeframe required by applicable law.
7. Security
We use safeguards designed to protect personal information, including encryption in transit and at rest, access controls scoped to job responsibilities, and security review. No service can guarantee perfect security, but we work to prevent unauthorized access, loss, misuse, or alteration.
8. Children
Zentor is not designed for people under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we learn that a child has provided personal information, we will take reasonable steps to delete it. A parent or guardian can contact us to request removal.
9. Third-Party Services and Links
The Service may connect or link to third-party services. Once you interact with a third party, its terms and privacy practices apply to its handling of your information. Review those policies before granting permissions or sharing data.
10. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this policy to reflect changes to the Service, our data practices, or legal requirements. The updated version replaces the prior version on this page, and the “Last updated” date will change. Where required, we will provide additional notice of material changes.
